Gratitude, Positive Climate, and Peer Encouragement Initiative
- “My Cup Is Full“ is a school-wide initiative designed to foster gratitude, kindness, and a sense of community among students and staff.
- This interactive space invited both students and teachers to write down things they were grateful for, whether kind actions from others, meaningful moments, or simple joys, and add them to a visual display shaped like a cup being filled.
- The project served as a platform for peer-to-peer and student-to-staff appreciation, creating a culture of encouragement and emotional connection.
- It supported social-emotional learning by helping students recognize and express positive emotions and acknowledge the impact others have on their well-being.
The activity also promoted empathy and perspective-taking, as students read others’ gratitude notes and reflected on the experiences and feelings of their peers
